Have had dealings with them many times in all areas such as accounts, techinical support both over the phone and via email. They are useless and unprofessional. Since they changed servers I have not managed to set up my account in outlook having to use the sever which is terrible. When asking for help I was told we don't have experience with outlook. Seriously?

Being a web designer I go through many hosting providers, and it was a challenge to find an affordable & reliable provider in Australia. VentraIP's service & support is fantastic and its great to be able to pickup the phone to support and actually speak to someone in Australia!
I have had web hosting with ventra for 7 years. Just adding email hosting. Occasionaly have downtime of email is added to black list but it is pretty good.
Been with them over a year (business plus hosting). Was quite happy and renewed for another year.
Few days later the site became inaccessible for visitors due to expired SSL. I checked Ventra IP web-site that clearly states that free Easy Trust SSL certificate is coming with business hosting and brought it to support attention. They flatly refused to honor it alleging that the certificate expires after one year. No mention of that anywhere on their site. Funny enough, they did not forget to charge my card for dedicated IP address required for Easy Trust SSL (which also not specified on web-site).
Now they are working on installing Easy Encrypt SSL which I could also get for free with much cheaper hosting at Zuver. The site has been down for the whole day.

After spending over 4 years with american and other overseas hosts our web development team decided to move to an Australian host to hopefully achieve better speeds within Australia and better support. VentraIP recently acquired WebAccess, the latter being our service provider for over 15 years. The transition to VentraIP has been very poor, with little guidance on how to navigate their online portal. Without a phone number to seek urgent assistance and left to the support ticket system, the response was less than helpful and in fact was quite rude and dismissive. This prompted us to seek out an alternative supplier - we will leave this frustrating company in search of SERVICE!

Same experience for me. After 15 great years with webaccess. I was informed my DNs server would be closed April 1. Then last week I discover it no longer exists. So nothing works anymore. And help service just wants me to pay more money to have the same service I had before. Am desperately trying to get away from them but not easy without a DNS server that works. Am getting pretty desperate.
We were with Web Access too and the customer service from these guys was brilliant. The customer service of VentraIP is appalling and would love to know if you found a better alternative.
Nothings changed. I was spiderweb hosting for years, great company. Ventra bought them and I got screwed over like many others.

You don't give a damn about your smaller clients. Probably just buying up other hosts to force everyone to use your sub par surface. I'd rather go back to Hostgator than even use you to send an email.
