Were good; now shockingly bad Is there an echo in here? Nope – unfortunately, I'm just having to repeat what everyone else is saying... I've used Easily for many years and been pretty happy with them – even recommended them to a few people. They were basic, but effective.
Then I built a new site in Wordpress and they said 'Sorry, we can't host this'. So I moved that site to SiteGround, and rebuilt another one I had hosted with them in Shopify, but I kept my email accounts with Easily.
Then the new portal went live, (although their url still links to the ugly old site rather than forwarding you to the new one – baffling), and now, none of it makes any sense! The old site, while ugly, was at least clear – you could see what you had, what you'd paid for it, and when things were going to expire. Not any more. The main reason I stuck with Easily over the years, despite the early 80s interface, was the fact that you could always pick up the phone and speak to a real (and generally helpful and well informed) person who would sort you out. Today, I was on hold, twice, for over 20 minutes, listening to what may be the WORST holding music I've ever heard, before hanging up. I tweeted them asking why nobody there ever picks up a phone any more. Deafening silence.
In short: there is NO TELEPHONE HELP AVAILABLE ANY MORE. I repeat: there is NO TELEPHONE HELP AVAILABLE ANY MORE. I've also not received any response to the two email support requests I've sent. I don't hold out much hope.
As soon as I can get some sign of life out them I am moving ALL of my email accounts over to SiteGround. Clearly, this 'upgrade' was gone horribly, horribly wrong.
By the way – SiteGround. Did I mention that SiteGround are FANTASTIC?
